Parental Bill of Rights

Parental Bill of Rights

Parental rights are under attack! The Parents Bill of Rights was shut down in our Colorado state legislature in April 2022. This should have passed overwhelmingly with bi-partisan support. We should all be able to agree that when parents are more involved and engaged in their children’s education, everyone is more successful.

The ideal situation is a school environment where parents and teachers are able to connect and partner for the academic achievement of the students together.

We support the conservative board members that strive to partner with parents and families. The previous board led by David Ray allowed trainings throughout the district in the name of “equity” that encouraged keeping information from parents regarding their child’s gender identity. It was clearly stated that this was specifically for ELEMENTARY and above.

The ideal situation is a school environment where parents and teachers are able to connect and partner for the academic achievement of the students together. When these relationships are allowed to grow without interference from outside political pressure, both the students and teachers benefit!
