Always treat others as you would like to be treated. Leave your space better than you found it. Help those less fortunate than you. Count your blessings. Always be honest. Rely on your Faith, Family, and Friendships, especially in times of need. These are not only conservative values, but the overarching values that make a community stronger.
There has been a noticeable shift in school curriculum towards weaving “woke” ideology into math questions. There are books in school libraries and on reading lists that are not appropriate for the age levels that have access to them. There are extracurricular clubs that are sponsoring content that would have been unheard of just a few years ago.
The conservative, common sense approach to addressing these issues is simple. Every message being taught to our children should be easily accessible and clearly stated. If there is anything that could be considered questionable or inappropriate, then parental approval or opt-out must be made available.
We stand for restoring academic excellence in Douglas County through a focus on academics over activism in classrooms.
We strive to strengthen our community through encouraging parental involvement in their children’s education.
